| Background | Mr. M.S. Maniyam was appointed as Chairman of Om Sri Bumi Engineering Sdn Bhd in 1995.
Born in 1952, he started his career as an Insulator at Epico Sdn. Bhd. in 1970. He was then promoted to an Insulation Supervisor in 1980. He was later offered to do subcontractors works In the late 1985, upon sufficient working experience Mr M.S. Maniyam decided to become self-employed and started Sri Bumi Engineering. In 1998, he established Om Sri Bumi Engineering Sdn Bhd and has been instrumental in bringing Om Sri Bumi to where it is now. He aspires to make Om Sri Bumi as a useful catalyst to further complement and contribute to the industries in Malaysia, especially the Oil & Gas industry. He intends to make Om Sri Bumi in taking effective steps to offer structured and useful services to the client by providing cost effective and quality services. He was conferred the title PJK in year 1998 followed by AMS in year 2000 and in year of 2015 he was conferred the title KMN by Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XIV Tuanku Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah. |

He was described by the industry as a fast learner and had excellent talent in business skills. With his talent slowly expanded the services of the Om Sri Bumi Engineering into the Oil and Gas industry. He quickly established among the oil ans gas main contractors as the top quality Insulation Company. In 2009, he was given the opportunity to spearhead Om Sri Bumi Engineering Sdn Bhd. With his experience and top notch skills he was quick to bring the company to the next level. He managed to consistently increase company sales every year while maintain profit. He is now curently pursuing an Executive Diploma in Knowledge Management to improve himself further. He aspires to make Om Sri Bumi as a top key player in the Malaysian Industry, especially the Oil and Gas Industry. He is keen in ensuring that Om Sri Bumi is always taking effective steps to offer cost effective and quality services to its clients. |
